Nicolas Le Novère is group leader at the  Babraham Institute. His research interests revolve around signal transduction, in particular in neurons. He tries to understand them using computational models. Besides his neurobiological-oriented research, Le Novère develops resources for systems biology, for instance standards like  SBML and  SBGN or databases like BioModels Database. More. Benedetta Frida Baldi is a PhD student in the lab. Her main interests are 3D modelling and spatial simulations of the Post Synaptic Density (PSD) assembly in dendritic spines using protein structures and EM imaging data. More. Google Scholar page.

 

Martina Fröhlich is a postdoc with Nicolas Le Novère working on building and annotating the signalosome of the glutamatergic synapse, which plays an important role in learning and memory. Her pathway map will be used to analyze the structural features of the signaling network and serve as a reference for subsequent model building. More.​

 

Vladimir Kiselev  is a post-doc in the laboratory. His main research interests are to study phospholipid signalling pathways using novel experimental data obtained in collaboration with  Len Stephens and Phil Hawkins at the Babraham Institute. Besides these, he is also very excited about the human brain activity, especially the long-term episodic memory. Christine Seeliger is a PhD student in the lab. Her main interests are spatial and stochastic simulations, BDNF/TrkB growthfactor signalling during long term potentiation (LTP) in the dendritic spine and spatial properties of phospholipid signalling. More

Sven Bergmann heads the Computational Biology Group at the University of Lausanne. His work includes designing and applying novel algorithms for the analysis of large-scale biological and medical data, as well as modeling genetic networks pertaining to the development of the Drosophila embryo and the response of plants to environmental changes. Vijayalakshmi Chelliah is senior curator of BioModels Database.

 

Mihai Glont is developer of the model repository within the DDMoRe project.

 

Nick Juty is curator of SBO and MIRIAM Registry.

 

Sarah Keating is developer of libSBML, the SBML test suite and the SBMLtoolbox.
